Oak City Counseling is looking to hire a seasoned clinical director for the following job duties:
Supervising licensed and pre-licensed clinicians around clinical issues
Providing staff management in the form of regular meetings, goal setting and evaluation with clinical staff
Expertise in managing clinical staff in a kind and compassionate manner
Provide on hand communication between staff and practice owner
Support owner in directing, managing and supervising staff
Provide marketing to area resources
Guide staff in making clinical decisions
Provide training and guidance in professional development of staff
The ideal candidate MUST be a LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL who can supervise other clinicians who either holds the Registered Play Therapist or Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor credential OR who has the equivalent of 10+ years of play therapy training and experience. Only candidates who posses the above criteria will be considered.
This position will require a caseload of 15-20 play therapy clients in addition to 10+ hours of clinical director work. The position will offer a generous salary split in addition to benefits.

Oak City Counseling is hiring a mental health therapist for children aged 2-up who has training in one or more of the following types of play therapy:
Child Centered/Non Directive Play Therapy
Child/Parent Relationship Therapy
Circle of Security
Candidate should have extensive training in an evidence based practice for children that incorporates play or expressive arts. Will also consider a candidate who is in the process of training for one of the above techniques.
Preference will be given for candidates who either have the RPT credential or are actively pursuing this.
This would be a W2 position that provides a generous salary split in addition to benefits.
We also have opportunities within the community to connect with doctors, schools, attorneys and large companies to promote our practice and develop relationships and learning opportunities.
Therapist will be encourage and invited to attend local play therapy trainings to enhance education/training expertise.
We are a tight knit and close group of professionals looking for someone who is as passionate about helping kids and parents as we are!
Must have a Master degree from an accredited university and be associate or fully licensed in NC as either an LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
Position requires a minimum caseload of 20 clients/3 days per week. Prefer someone willing to work Saturdays and interested in a ‘full time’ case load.
