Jackie Hartman is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in art and play therapies. She excels at working with children and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or other adverse emotions due to grief and/or loss, trauma, abuse, divorced/separated parents, blended families, attachment and/or security issues, and self-esteem issues.
Ms. Hartman received her Masters degree in Art Therapy, therefore she has unique experience and training in providing various types of art therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Jackie finds that through art, her clients-especially children-can accomplish more in depth emotional work than through simply verbalizing.
Jackie has completed the supervision requirements and in the process of completing the educational component of the Registered Play Therapist credential thus she has significant experience in various types of play therapy. Jackie is also in the process of becoming a Registered Art Therapist. She is very passionate about helping children and teens work through whatever obstacles have come their way so that they can lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
Ms. Hartman also assists parents with any parenting challenges they are facing and supports the family as a whole through the healing process.
Jackie enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating art, and spending time at the beach.
Jackie has daytime availability only for new clients and is in network with BCBS
