Oak City Counseling is a Child/Family Focused Private Practice in North Raleigh that Specializes in Providing Play Therapy to Kids of All Ages

Our practice can provide clinical supervision towards LCSW or LCMHC licensure in addition to training towards Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential. This will be an included benefit for potential candidates.

Play Therapist

Candidate MUST have full licensure in NC in either mental health counseling, social work or equivalent.

Preference will be given to candidates who either have the RPT credential or are actively pursuing this and who have experience and training in play therapy.

This is a W2 position that provides a generous hourly rate, Therapynotes account, email address, website, all marketing materials, phone/voicemail, Wifi, significant marketing, plenty of referrals, insurance panel credentialing, billing, benefits including paid vacation, health insurance, CE stipend, bonuses, continuing ed opportunities, RPT  supervision and use of fully stocked playroom.

We also have opportunities within the community to connect with doctors, schools, attorneys and large companies to promote our practice and develop relationships and learning opportunities.

Therapist will be encourage and invited to attend local play therapy trainings to enhance education/training expertise.

We are a tight knit and close group of professionals looking for someone who is as passionate about helping kids and parents as we are!

Must have a Master degree from an accredited university and be fully licensed in NC as either an LCSW, LPC or LMFT.

Position requires a minimum caseload of 20 clients per week. Must be willing to work in the evenings or until 6pm at least 2 days/week and/or a weekend.

Clinical Director

We are seeking a Clinical Director to join our team at Oak City Counseling. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services. The Clinical Director will play a vital role in shaping our practice's approach and enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Lead and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality mental health services for children including play therapy

Develop and implement treatment protocols and best practices for client care.
Monitor client outcomes and adjust programs as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
Provide training and professional development opportunities for clinicians.
Collaborate with external partners to promote community mental health initiatives.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, or related field required.
Valid licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC-S).
Proven experience in healthcare management or clinical leadership roles.
Minimum of 3 years supervising associate level clinicians
Training in supervision
Ability to supervise associate licensees in NC
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Training and expertise in play therapy
Preferred RPT-S credential
Would consider candidate with RPT status and eligible for RPT-S
Ability to hold a caseload of 15 Clients per week for play therapy or parent support
